ASML Lunch Lecture

On the 14th of June, Ockham will host a lunch lecture by ASML. This Dutch company is currently the world’s largest supplier of lithography machines for the production of computer chips. Their speaker will first tell us about ASML in general, then zoom in on a selection of engineering groups within the company. Of course, there will be opportunity to ask questions about the contents of the presentation and on possible opportunities at ASML.

The ASML lecture and its contents are most interesting for physics-, mechincal engineering-, electrical engineering-, mathematics-, computer science-, chemical engineering- and industrial engineering students. However if you have interest in the technical parts of ASML please join as well.

A peek in the life of UTwente alumnus Diederik Keij, Project Manager at ASML

UTwente alumnus Diederik Keij returns to Enschede to share some of his professional experiences. “I currently work as a Project Manager within one of the factories of ASML, responsible for introducing new products in the factory,” Diederik says. During his presentation Diederik will zoom in on what kind of company ASML is and he will discuss a technical challenge, but he will also tell something about the content of his job. He explains: “I am looking forward to share my knowledge and help members of H.V. Ockham gain insight in what they could do at ASML with concrete examples, because I remember the questions I had when I was still a student.”

As usual, lunch will be provided.
